This site is about the relationship between science and religion.
Some people claim that religion is an outright enemy of science and vice versa.
Others claim that whilst they are not enemies as such, science has effectively exterminated science and that there is no longer any need to hang onto outdated, superstitious ideas. This is where the “God of the Gaps” argument comes in – that science is continually filling in gaps in our knowledge and religious beliefs are being squeezed into the ever diminishing gaps that remain.
Others argue that science and religion are two different approaches to figuring things out and they can exist side-by-side as long as they don’t try to interfere with each other.
I go beyond that last position. I believe that science and religion can work hand in hand,, not just supporting but enhancing each other by filling the gaps that exist in both. That is what this site is about.
